Environmental Education & Adventure Programs Manager

KEEN is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Environmental Education & Adventure Programs Manager to lead and expand our adventure-based and environmental education initiatives in Ellensburg Washington. In this evolving role, you will design and implement a variety of programs—from after-school activities and summer camps (including spring 4th-grade Outdoor School) to school-year adventure trips. You will also drive new initiatives in curriculum development, community outreach, fundraising, grant writing, first aid training, and adventure leadership. This position is designed to grow over time as you infuse it with your interests, skills, and experiences.

KEEN's mission is to cultivate an active understanding of the impacts of climate change on the endangered shrub-steppe and foster commitment to environmental stewardship by providing culturally relevant nature-based education. Our main project is to establish the Yakima Canyon Interpretive Center (YCIC) at Helen McCabe Park near Ellensburg, WA.
